Paddle Camp.jpg

Our 3-day half-day paddle camp introduces kids ages 11-15 to the wonderful world of kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) through instruction, games and discovery in the Narrow River Watershed. Participants learn paddle techniques and maneuvers for each discipline with an emphasis on safe paddling and fun. We will teach campers about Narrow River marine life, wildlife, and history, paddling strokes, kayak and SUP rescues, SUP yoga and fitness, weather, tides and more! The aim of our program is to foster safe paddling, a love of paddle sport and stewardship of our natural surroundings while building skills and confidence on the water by kayak or SUP. Each camper receives a water bottle and tee shirt. Bring your own lunch, snacks and drinks. Be prepared to have fun and get wet each day! Parents and siblings are welcome to join campers for a paddle at the end of camp or get a voucher to come back another time for a family outing on the river. The Camp is led by experienced American Canoe Association (ACA) Certified Staff and support staff from Narrow River Kayaks.
