This 4-5-hour guided tour takes you from the freshwater Carr Pond (optional) near the head of the Narrow River Watershed, through Gilbert Stuart Stream to the Upper and Lower Kettle Ponds, under Lacey (Bridgetown) Bridge where the river narrows, all the way to Narrow River Kayaks located in the heart of the John H. Chafee National Wildlife Refuge. Ride the glide of the ebb tide all the way home.
Participants visit Gilbert Stuart Birthplace Museum during the outing for a guided tour of the grounds and 18th century snuff mill. Kayaks only on this tour.
