The second of our two big events this past weekend was the 11th Annual Pettaquamscutt Paddle. In the morning, we had discounted rentals followed by a guided sunset paddle in the evening. A big shout out to the many participants who came out to show their support of @narrowriverpa and their love for our precious Pettaquamscutt (Narrow) River Watershed! 100% of the proceeds went to Narrow River Preservation Association. This was part of the PaddleRI series started by the RI Blueways & Greenways Alliance in 2008. Pictured here are most of the paddlers who enjoyed a beautiful sunset in the John H. Chafee National Wildlife Refuge.

Narrow River Kayaks had the honor, privilege and pleasure of hosting 2 amazing events this past weekend. The first was Paddle for Recovery, a free Intro to Stand Up Paddle Boarding class for individuals recovering from cancer or undergoing treatment and their caretakers. Thank you @casirynkowski for starting such an incredible program, sharing your time and expertise, and having us be a part of it. Thank you @stevemckanna for your guidance and support on the water and @joshephoto for beautifully capturing the moment! And especially, congrats and admiration to all 9 participants!
